So, all of the women in my family have been blessed by the gift of craft. Give us some scrap paper and glue and we know just what to do. The need to create simply runs in our blood.
From my grandma (the seamstress and gifted oil painter who had me making jewelry from shells when I was in 5th grade) to my youngest cousin (who can dress a Thanksgiving table to the nines, is a master baker, and fulfilled an emergency call this weekend to teach my youngest bro the ins-and-outs of curling ribbon so that he could ask a date to prom in style), we're all fairly adept at making something from nothing.
Some of us Shepard-clan womenfolk even have our craftiness together enough to share it with others via an etsy shop. Allow me to introduce y'all to my lovely and talented cousin Lindsey, from whom I just received the cutest hand-felted bowl in history (pictured in the slightly-out-of-focus pic above.) This darling quickly made itself at home near our kitchen sink as the perfect little ring drop spot and was inaugurated yesterday when Kellen got the itch to make chocolate chip cookies (have I mentioned how much I love this man!?)
Wishing to have one of your very own!? I knew you would! Click here to view more of Lindsey's work (she's also an incredibly talented painter and is likely blushing like crazy right now.) Love you, Linds.

Oh, my love. My heart beats a little louder when I read of your love for me. We are so blessed to have such inspiration in our family, aren't we? I love you. I miss you. Thanks for the words of affirmation and the props. You mean so much to me.
