We had a wonderful outing to the Oregon Zoo with some dear friends last week. It was bitter cold, and the sun never did make its promised appearance but the weather didn't dampen our spirits. We bundled up in layers and layers and layers and enjoyed a crowd-free visit to the elephants, giraffes, monkeys and myriad other amazing creatures.

That second picture down is priceless. Look at those big, wondering eyes. I so wish I could go to the zoo with you guys. It would have been fun to be young mothers together. If you are ever up for laser tag or arcades, let me know. ;)
