Camp 2010

Camp 2010 from cecily on Vimeo.

This year's trip to the family property in Colorado was truly a week to remember. Long days full of laughter. Sunshine followed by lightning, followed by more sunshine. A million stars at night. Morning dew. A little work. A lot of play. Epic card games. Mountain lion prints and marmots. Perfect s'mores and sourdough pancakes. High mountain air and hundred mile vistas.

It was nothing short of magic.

And at long last, I've compiled a few favorite images of it all. Fleeting moments captured and treasured. Savored again with each view.

Special thanks to my quick-eyed father-in-law for the photos he so artfully contributed to this set, and for the use of his awesome camera for many of the pics that I snapped. Set to the sweet sounds of The Greencards' Time.

Oh my goodness, that almost made me cry and it's not even my family! You can FEEL the love in these pictures, and it makes me remember hanging out for a short couple of hours at the cabin before your wedding, and getting to know these people a wee little bit. Beautiful family, beautiful pictures, beautiful music, ahhh, just beautiful. :)
